- Some heating is by storage heaters and storage heating is included in the rental charge as well as coals and logs for the open fire

- Sheets, pillowslips, towels, tea towels and toilet rolls to be provided by guests although sheets, pillowslips and towels may be hired (at additional charge) if requested in advance of arrival
